Opinions on carpet steam cleaners: which one's the best?

My Hoover broke, so I went to Kohl’s and got a really nice deal on a Rug Doctor Mighty Pro. Nice machine, except it’s heavy, and it only extracted 25% or LESS of the water out of the mattresses and couch cushions. SO, I reasearch all nite. There’s a really nice Bissell on sale at Kohl’s too, but many reviews said that when you do furniture, it doens’t extract much water. So, today I go to Kohl’s, and take back the Rug Doctor. I bought a Hoover Max extract. It extracts about 80% of the water, has a few annoying things like any carpet cleaner, but they’re now putting on stiff, short, grey HARD plastic hoses that want to curl up. Also it’s hard to work on the bottom edges of the chairs near the floor, because the hose is so stiff, it gets under the upholstery tool and your hand and blocks you from running the tool down at the very bottom bottom near the floor.

Anyone got any other ideas? I’m not familiar with the Dyson at all. I wouldn’t touch a Shark, and don’t like Oreck anything.

steam floor cleaners….Do any of them work ?

I am looking to buy a steam cleaner for my hard floors at home, not carpets.
I have looked at Hoover, Bissell, Shark and a few more, they all appear to be made from cheap flimsy plastic….I have read reviews online about the Hoover Steam cleaner and am really glad i didnt buy one, they dont work !
Can anyone help me in finding a steam cleaner under 0 that does actually steam and clean.
Awaiting any replies whilst i scrub my rather large kitchen floor by hand !!!!! Yay.

Euro pro steam cleaner Steam Cleaners and Your Carpet

www.sharksteamcleanerblog.com Steam cleaners are speedily turning out to be rather popular with individuals now because they provide effective as well as complete cleaning to the upholstery and are much better than normal vacuums. So, how exactly do steam cleaners function and for what purpose ought to you purchase one for your own? Well essentially, these function by soaking the rug prior to picking up the soil, which means they’re in a position to supply improved cleaning power. The great thing regarding such cleaners is they’re multipurpose and flexible when it comes to usage and not just for home cleaning purposes, because they can work in industrial environments too.

Anyone know of a hand held steam cleaner?

I am looking for a high quality hand held steam cleaner that I would like to use to clean my upholstered sofas and for cleaning around my home. I have checked the allergybuyersclub.com site for suggestions, but they only seem to have big, clunky ones that you have to wheel around and I really don’t want to have to do that. I have never cared for canister vacuum cleaners so it wouldn’t be different with a steam cleaner. I really want to find one that I can easily carry around my home. I did notice the Ladybug steam cleaner and from reviews I have read it seems like an excellent product, but again it is the kind you have to roll it around and the hose is seems really long. I appreciate any suggestions.
I have heard of the Shark, but have read reviews that claim it’s not very good so I am not sure.
